coughs are just irritating. That non stop cough in middle of a conversation or during sleep. It is one of the most common health problems both in kids ans adults. There are  two types of coughs dry cough and wet cough (productive cough).

A dry cough is often caused by allergies, dry air, a random itch at the back of your throat that won’t go away, the aftermath of a cold, being in a dusty environment and so on.

A wet cough or productive cough is a cough when you are  coughing up phlegm or mucous which you need to get out of your system.

* Boil tulsi leaves in water mix it with honey and drink it. Tulsi leaves which are commonly found in backyards of every house is paced with medicinal values. It boosts our immune system and help us fight common cold and cough.

* Grind ginger and extract the juice mix it with equal amount of honey and have it. Ginger helps to get rid of the irritation and soothes your throat.

* Mix pepper powder with honey and have it to get rid of throat irritation and cough.

grind button onions (Cheria ulli) into a paste add crystallized sugar lumps (kalkandam) and have it to ease cough.
