Our bones provides us structure and protect all the vital organs in our body. It is very important to have healthy bones. Bone is a living, growing tissue. It is made mostly of two materials collagen which is a protein that provides a soft framework, and calcium,a mineral that adds strength and hardness. This combination makes our bone both strong and flexible. The two main components that make our bones healthy is calcium and vitamin D. Most of the required components are gained through a healthy diet and exercise.

But if we don’t eat right and don’t get enough of exercise, our bones can become weak and brittle and even break. Broken bones are called fractures it can be painful and sometimes need surgery to heal. They can also cause long-lasting health problems.
